Water Use Efficiency

In January 2008 in response to the Washington State Department of Health Water Use Efficiency Rule the Asotin PUD Board of Commissioners developed and adopted a Water Use Efficiency - Water Conservation Plan.

In September 2025 the Plan was updated with Program Goals and Objectives for the 2026-2035 period. Along with continuing our successful program of finding and repairing leaks and looking for opportunities to conserve, the Plan outlines customer educational and conservation measures that will assist our customer-owners in saving water and money.

Water Use Efficiency

The PUD will be holding a Public Forum on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 5:30 pm at the PUD office located at 1500 Scenic Way, Clarkston, to review proposed Water Use Efficiency Program Goals.

The PUD is proposing 10 goals for the years 2026-2035. Along with continuing our successful program of finding and repairing leaks and looking for opportunities to conserve, the program outlines customer educational and conservation measures that will assist our customer-owners in saving water and money.
