Beginning Tuesday the 27th at 7:00 a.m., Chestnut Street will be closed between 6th Street and 7th Street due to an excavation in the center of the roadway. There will be no through traffic during this time, and the alleyway will not be accessible from Chestnut Street. The alley will remain open and accessible from Sycamore Street.

We anticipate reopening Chestnut Street by the end of the day on Wednesday the 28th, weather and conditions permitting. During the closure, traffic will be detoured to Sycamore Street. The north-side sidewalk on Chestnut Street will also be closed, while the south-side sidewalk will remain open.

All businesses will remain open and accessible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we move forward with this project.
