State law requires that the PUD redistrict the three (3) commissioner districts into a nearly equal population as possible based on the most recent federal decennial census. The PUD received the 2020 Census data and has developed a proposed plan for realigning the commissioner districts to ensure an equal population distribution.

The PUD will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 5:30 p.m., at the PUD office located at 1500 Scenic Way, WA, to accept public comment on a proposed redistricting plan based on the recent federal decennial census.
